Autumn is a season of transition. As the days become cooler, drier, and windier, our bodies naturally begin to adapt to the changing environment. According to Ayurveda, these qualities can increase Vata dosha, which may lead to dry skin, digestive discomfort, poor sleep, anxiety, low energy, and difficulty concentrating.
An Ayurvedic Autumn Cleanse is a gentle way to help your body adjust to the new season. Rather than following an extreme detox, Ayurveda focuses on supporting your body's natural ability to eliminate toxins (ama), strengthen digestion (agni), and restore balance through nourishing foods, daily routines, herbs, and mindful practices.
Benefits of an Ayurvedic Autumn Cleanse
Supports healthy digestion and improves digestive fire (Agni)
Helps eliminate accumulated toxins (Ama)
Calms the nervous system and reduces stress
Promotes mental clarity and emotional balance
Increases energy and vitality
Supports healthy immunity before winter
Encourages better sleep and overall wellbeing
Helps you reconnect with your body's natural rhythms
This cleanse is suitable for anyone who wants to reset their habits, improve their wellbeing, and enter the colder months feeling lighter, more energised, and better prepared for the season ahead.
The programme combines personalised Ayurvedic guidance, nourishing seasonal recipes, lifestyle practices, herbal support (at an additional cost) where appropriate, and simple daily rituals to help you create lasting healthy habits not just for a few days, but throughout autumn and beyond.
Prior to the Appointment
After your booking and payment confirmation, you will get an initial assessment form. Please read it carefully and respond to it two times: first, reflecting on your usual feelings, and second, based on how you feel at that moment. Ideally, send it via email at least one day before your appointment.
The Day of the Appointment
Recent health details such as medications, supplements, important test results, and any known diagnoses
A record of your food intake, digestion, sleep patterns, and any symptoms
A log of your eliminations (stool and urine)
Pictures of your tongue
A glass or bottle of water or herbal tea
How to Prepare Your Body and Mind for the Appointment?
Aim to finish a light meal 1–2 hours before our meeting.
If possible, steer clear of alcohol and very heavy or spicy foods beforehand.
Dress comfortably, as we may need to look at your tongue and discuss self-massage, breathing techniques, and posture.
After the Session
You will receive your tailored guidance within 24–48 hours, which will include suggestions for diet, lifestyle, and routine, as well as any links for follow-up appointments.
Preparing for Your Online Consultation (Google Meet)
Use a laptop or tablet if possible
Update your browser (Chrome or Safari) and test your camera and microphone
Join from a quiet, well-lit space with a stable internet connection. Using headphones can help reduce echo. If possible turn your camera on
Have the Google Meet link from your confirmation ready and click it 2 minutes before the scheduled start time. I will let you in when it is the time of your appointment
Sit somewhere you feel relaxed and won't be interrupted
If you’re delayed, join as soon as you can; we will use the remaining time
If the connection drops, rejoin via the same Meet link. If issues persist, we will switch to a phone call and follow up with your plan via email.
