A weekend of Pause • Release • Nourish • Reconnect
An Ayurvedic Autumn Cleanse is a gentle way to help your body and mind adjust to the changing season. In Ayurveda, cleansing is traditionally used as an opportunity to pause, simplify and let go of habits, foods and routines that may no longer feel supportive. It is not about extreme restriction, but about creating space for nourishing choices and reconnecting with your natural rhythms.
Autumn is a particularly meaningful time for this. As nature begins to shed what it no longer needs, we can take inspiration from the season and reflect on what we are ready to leave behind. Whether that is unhelpful routines, excess, or simply the pace of summer. Ayurveda encourages us to use this transition as a time to simplify, nourish and prepare for the colder months ahead.
Rather than following an extreme detox, Ayurveda traditionally focuses on supporting digestion (agni), natural elimination and overall wellbeing through nourishing foods, supportive daily routines, herbs where appropriate, and mindful practices. It is an invitation to pause, release, nourish and reconnect to what truly supports you as you move into a new season.
Each day begins with an opening ceremony to create a calm, welcoming and intentional space. We’ll take a moment to arrive, slow down and connect with ourselves before exploring Ayurvedic concepts and seasonal practices.
Throughout the sessions, there will be guided reflections and group discussions, creating space to share experiences, listen to others and learn more about Ayurveda. There will also be time for questions, personal reflection and setting intentions for the season ahead.
We will close our time together with a closing circle of reflection and gratitude, acknowledging what we have learned, what we are ready to release and what we wish to carry forward. We’ll finish by offering our thanks to the Universe, and the Spiritual Guides that have supported us throughout this journey.
